Carolyn Manning provides leadership for the Alumni Association departments that engage volunteers and offer programs and events for alumni. Over the span of her career at Stanford she has led and launched many special initiatives for the University including the inauguration of Stanford’s President in 2000, staffing two Board of Trustees Task Forces focused on improving minority alumni relations, and design and construction of the Arrillaga Alumni Center which opened in 2001. For her cumulative record of service to the University, she was honored in 2004 with the Kenneth Cuthbertson Award for Exceptional Service to Stanford University.
