Please note the following:

  1. Formatting: If you copy/paste your job description from another source, you may inadvertently include formatting code that affects your job posting's appearance. If this happens, copy/paste your job description into a text editor first, then copy/paste that text into the job description field and reformat as needed. You can view your newly posted job here.
  2. All jobs automatically close 30 days after posting. If you'd like for your jobs to automatically repost for the duration of your package, select "Automatically Repost - Yes" when adding your jobs. Be sure to close your postings when the position has closed.
  3. For job postings in multiple locations: In order to be searchable by location, you must post a separate job for each location by creating copies of the original job posting and changing the location. If you prefer not to post separate jobs, only add the Country field for location, add "Various Locations" to the job title and then list the separate locations in the job description.
  4. When you are ready to post your job: From the Add Jobs page, click the Post Job button and the following Post Job Options box will pop up (screenshot). Select Posting Type 30 Days, then click on the “Post Job” button.

Job Scraping

As an alternative to manually posting jobs, an employer may be able to scrape jobs. Job scraping benefits employers who post large numbers of roles and/or post new roles frequently. Interested employers should reach out to Shalini Sharma to see whether job scraping is appropriate for their job posting needs.

To be eligible for scraping:

  • Job postings may only be scraped directly from an employer's own site. Our job board platform cannot scrape from third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Monster or Indeed.
  • Job postings must be for relaunchers only. Jobs for which both relaunchers and non-relaunchers are eligible cannot be scraped.
  • Our job board platform must be able to identify these relauncher-specific job postings through the use of hashtag identifiers (e.g., #returnship), keywords, career reentry landing page URL, or a combination of these from the employer’s career reentry program landing page/careers site.
  • Once the scraping has been implemented, it is the employer’s responsibility to check that the job postings are scraping accurately and to inform Shalini Sharma of any issues.

The scraped job postings will automatically close on the job board after the job has been closed on the employer’s site.

Please contact Shalini Sharma to learn more about our job scraping function.
