Michelle Friedman is a certified executive coach, organizational consultant, facilitator and speaker with an expertise in women’s career paths. She is the Founder of Advancing Women's Careers, LLC ("AWC"), a global coaching and consulting firm based outside of NYC, which is dedicated to strengthening the pipeline of female leaders in demanding industries.
Before founding AWC, Michelle spent 12 years in the corporate banking and financial software industries in key relationship management and marketing roles. Michelle earned an MA in social-organizational psychology, with an emphasis on change leadership, from Columbia University. Michelle received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis with a BSBA in marketing and a concentration in psychology. Michelle is certified by the Coaches Training Institute and is a Certified Practitioner of Hogan Assessments, Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator®, and Strong Interest Inventory®. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, and holds their Professional Certified Coach designation.
Michelle is a Special Advisor to iRelaunch, where she participates in a range of roles, from training iRelaunch coaches and piloting new small group coaching programs, to facilitating iRelaunch corporate strategy sessions. iRelaunch collaborates with AWC on designated reentry consulting engagements with employers, universities and professional associations.
