Victor M. Madrigal is an Associate Director for Classes at the Stanford Alumni Association with nearly 23 years of experience in student and alumni relations. Currently, he oversees outreach to alumni celebrating milestone 5th to 65th class reunions. Victor’s staff team works each year with over 1,200 alumni volunteers; they leverage volunteer alumni connections to attract 10,000 alumni attendees and their guests to Stanford’s Reunion Homecoming weekend, a celebratory experience involving social, academic and cultural activities. Alumni outreach also encompasses engaging alumni in online social media groups and keepsake Class Books.
Previously, Victor was Director of Student and Young Alumni Programs responsible for SAA’s engagement strategy for undergraduates and young alumni, executing student programming, advising Senior Class Presidents and advising the Student Leadership Society. He started at Stanford in the annual fund as an intern and later served as Stewardship Associate working with alumni donors and their undergraduate scholarship recipients.
Victor currently serves on the Stanford Historical Society Advisory Board and is advisor to Stanford’s La Raza Staff Association. He has served on the Provost’s Diversity Action Council and the Vice Provost for Graduate Education Diversity Dissertation Research Committee. For over 10 years he has served as co-emcee for Stanford’s Annual Multicultural Springfest, a community celebration for 4,000 Stanford staff. Victor is also a member of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Bay Area Advisory Council and has served multiple terms on the St. Leander Parish Council as well as the Oakland Diocesan Pastoral Council.
Victor has invested countless hours over the last 20 years in his community volunteering as chair for the parish festival, the school PTA and other school and community initiatives including serving on the San Leandro General Plan and Advisory Committee. He holds a BS in public policy from Stanford.
