Re-entry platform that matches experienced lawyers returning to the profession with law firms nationwide for a one-year, paid training contract. Overview of legal technology and coaching advice provided as part of program. Application required.

Program provides administrative supplements to existing NIH research grants to support individuals with high potential to re-enter an active research career after taking time off to care for children or parents or to attend to other family responsibilities.

Paid 16-week clinical nurse residency program with progressively independent functioning in the clinical area as a key component.

Non Profit & Social Enterprise

We are currently in the third year of our program designed to assist long-term unemployed that are over the age of 50 and meet certain financial criteria. We assist our clients with the job search process, and provide funding for a 13 week internship.  Upon locating a full-time position for the client, we pay an hourly salary for 32-40 hours of employment a week, for up to 13 weeks. The program objective is to facilitate a smooth transition for the employer and intern into the full-time position beyond the 13 weeks.

Non-profit that helps workers age 45+ return to the workforce. Four week minimum, temporary employee who is older and under/unemployed and looking for a job.

Places experienced professionals back into the workforce through paid, short-term projects at non-profits.  Skill development, training and coaching provided for individuals. May result in employment opportunity. Began 2014.

Paid, 11-week summer internships for current students and recent graduates of Bachelors, Masters, or PhD programs. Age of students is not a factor nor is it relevant whether the person took a career break before beginning one of these degree programs.

Financial support to cover cost of registration, accommodation and/or care provider to attend a Biomedical Society conferences, workshops or training days to make it easier for people on a career break to remain engaged with the science community and return to work. Must be a member of the Biochemical Society.
 

12 week paid internship program for individuals who have taken a career break of at least 2 years.
