The 19th iRelaunch Return to Work Conference was Bigger and Better Than Ever Before!
“Welcome everyone! We are going to start now and I can’t wait for us to experience this incredible day! This day is about learning the best return to work strategies, having conversations with employers who understand the value that we, relaunchers bring to the table and what a great talent pool we are, and it’s really about the future of relaunching.
“Because the companies in this room understand that focusing on returning professionals is a long term success strategy. It’s important signaling to their own alumni who might be on career break. It’s important signaling to their Millennial employees who according to recent studies are expected to take career breaks in large numbers, both women and men.
“And this day is about all of you – recognizing and understanding for yourself the value you bring to the work place and establishing that personalize pathway to get you there. You will realize that some of the most important contacts you meet today are each other, the others sitting around the table with you.”
Thus began the 19th iRelaunch Return to Work Conference at Columbia University, with iRelaunch CEO Carol Fishman Cohen kicking off the jam-packed day. Once again with a capacity crowd of over 600 attendees, the Conference sold out earlier than ever before and with nearly 200 people on the waiting list.

Here’s what we heard from our iRelaunch Conference attendees about the day:
So worth attending! Great insight and inspiration from successful relaunchers, coaches, and company/organization recruiters. I highly recommend the Conference and the Excel for relaunchers class.
One of the best-organized Conferences I've ever attended.
All coaches and presenters were very open and accessible. Great supportive environment - left feeling energized and with increased clarity about my next steps.
I am at the beginning at the relaunch process. I walked away with a strong action plan, a network of like-minded relaunchers who can offer support, and a positive "I can do this" mindset. Thank you!
The iRelaunch Conference gave me many practical "takeaways," which I plan to incorporate into my job search. It was a very well-organized event, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about relaunching, or is already involved in the process.
Conference attendees gain so much insight into the process to map out an effective relaunch strategy.
Once you put the steps into motion, you too can be well on your way to re-enter the workforce. This was an excellent venue which enabled me to proudly and boldly proclaim to [an employer] "I want to work for you" without having to apologize for taking a career break. The normalization of returning to work after a career break is wonderful step forward. Thank you!
Brava to the whole iRelaunch team for putting together such a high-quality, first-rate conference. The day was both inspiring and extremely practical. The quality of the recruiters is a true testament to the respect and reputation Carol Fishman Cohen has built up over the years - she has done so much for our community, and we are so grateful!
The iRelaunch Return to Work Conference was an amazing experience. It was an honor to be part of this event. The Conference is truly a gathering of high-quality professionals.
This Conference delivers! At the end of the day I felt energized. My confidence level has gone up because I know what I must do. I will relaunch!! Thanks iRelaunch!
