Arjan Eenkema van Dijk, MBA

Arjan is the founder of InspireShift LLC, a boutique coaching firm specializing in executive, career and entrepreneur coaching. With more than 20 years' experience in corporate and non-profit leadership roles, Arjan partners globally with executives, leaders, business owners and individuals to define and attain their career and leadership objectives.

Arjan is a certified executive coach, speaker and facilitator. She is an expert in leadership development, female leadership, career transition, communication, personal branding, emotional intelligence, time management and positive intelligence. Working across management levels, she counts among her clients C-suite executives in Fortune 500 companies, senior leaders, high-potential middle-level managers, and founders of start-up organizations. Her clients span a diverse range of fields, including financial services, marketing, information technology, law, education, consumer goods, healthcare, retail, publishing, and not-for-profit.

Arjan builds a highly personal rapport with each client and combines a strategic, results oriented approach with a deep level of compassion. Her strategies are based upon the latest research. 

Arjan co-founded Lives in Transition, a highly successful career networking and support group in the New York metropolitan area, as a timely response to the economic downturn in 2009. Lives in Transition has offered programming, workshops, coaching, and networking resources to over 1,000 people in career transitions.

Arjan serves on the Advisory Council for the Stanford University Clayman Institute for Gender Research. She holds an MBA from one of the premier universities in Holland, University of Groningen. She earned her coaching certification from New York University and is accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation, the leading global coaching organization). She has advanced certifications in executive, business and career coaching and is well-versed in many career and leadership assessment tools.

 

Carroll Welch

Carroll Welch is a career coach and counselor who works in private practice with clients in all industries on issues involving career and leadership development, transition and reentry. As a fully committed collaborative partner, Carroll coaches her clients through the work of articulating a career vision and setting goals to make progress and experience results.  As a past director of a program for reentry professionals, Carroll has extensive experience coaching individuals in communicating about their strengths and anticipating and planning for obstacles in their job searches. Carroll was a practicing employment law attorney at two major law firms and provided legal counsel to management on a variety of employment law issues before beginning her coaching and counseling practice. She has also served as an alumni counselor in the career services offices of two New York City area universities. 

Carroll received a certificate in Executive and Organizational Coaching from New York University. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and holds their Associate Certified Coach credential.  Carroll also is credentialed as a coach through the Five O’Clock Club’s job search methodology platform. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.  She serves as a mentor and member of the board of directors of Campus Bound Scholars, a nonprofit that supports first generation college bound students.
