The iRelaunch and Mocha Moms partnership began after long time iRelaunch advisory board member and National President of Mocha Moms Kuae Kelch (a relauncher herself) and CEO and co-founder of iRelaunch Carol Fishman Cohen put their heads together to collaborate on co-hosted events and employment opportunities for relaunchers of color.
Founded in the fall of 2015, the STEM Reentry Task Force is now in its sixth year. The Task Force is a groundbreaking initiative co-led by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and iRelaunch to grow the number of employers offering return to work programs, and in turn the number of relaunchers who participate in them.
Given the technical focus of the Task Force, programs typically start with technical roles exclusively or with technical roles in the mix with non-technical roles. Task Force employer programs are open to all genders
We've collaborated with PowerToFlysince 2018 on Lunch and Learns, Parent's Panels and Summits, serving as panelists, speakers and even recommending great guests for programs, such as Anna Nguyen for PowerToFly's June 2021 Pride at Work Summit. Anna gave an incredible talk on her relaunch entitled "Fashion, Tech and New Beginnings: The Amazing Career Journey of Anna Nguyen." In March of 2021, iRelaunch also participated in PowerToFly's Returning to the Workforce Summit: a 3 day event covering topics on the future of work and the ways in which employers can better accommodate the needs of those returning to the workforce, covering everything from training to flexible schedules to childcare support.

Our collaboration with Ellevate dates back to when Carol Fishman Cohen was one of the early "Power Circle" members of 85 Broads, the organization originally acquired by Sallie Krawcheck which later became Ellevate. In 2007, Ellevate Network (then 85 Broads,) featured Back on the Career Track as part of their book club and hosted a discussion with co-authors Carol Fishman Cohen and Vivian Steir Rabin. In November 2011, 85 Broads was a sponsor of ourWashington D.C. Return to Work Conference.
Since then, we’ve collaborated on virtual events such as the recorded webinar on the topic of “Everything You Need to Know About Career Breaks,” with Kristy Wallace interviewing Carol Fishman Cohen, along with featuring Kristy Wallace on our 3, 2, 1 iRelaunch podcast who speaks about goal setting, making the most of new beginnings, surrounding yourself with a supportive community and the importance of seeing networking opportunities in your everyday activities.
Most recently, we’ve been a huge proponent and supporter of Ellevate’s EllevateHER Forward initiative as a result of the 2020 pandemic, which is a fellowship grant fund for women economically impacted by COVID-19 to help women return to work.
