"Vivi works for American Express - Global Merchant Services (GMS) Europe, as the Director - Sales Strategy & Development (SS&D). She leads a multi-cultural team responsible for a broad range of tasks including Sales and Client Management Incentive Plan design and management, 3rd party performance analysis, Coverage communications, Prospecting, and the strategic thinking behind the GMS Teleservices operation. For her contribution to Amex, Vivi has been honored with a 2006 President's Club Award and a 2008 Leadership Award.
Before joining American Express, Vivi spent 8 years working for United Technologies' Pratt & Whitney (P&W) jet engine division in the US and France and is a graduate of P&W's Leadership Associates Program. She spent her final P&W years as the General Manager, Sales & Marketing for Western European airlines, such as Swissair/Swiss, Air France, Alitalia and Air One.
Vivi has earned an MSc in Finance from the London Business School, an MBA from Purdue University, an MSc in Information Systems Design from the London School of Economics and is an Electronics Engineer. She lives in London with her husband, Kostas, and 6-yr old son, Nicholas. Vivi joined American Express after a career break following the birth of her son. She has a passion for tennis, exploring London with her son, reading, and entertaining friends at home."
