A graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Business, Cindy began her career as a credit analyst in banking and continued to spend several years developing credit and general banking skills. She moved to corporate finance holding various positions at White Motor Corporation (subsequently acquired by Volvo) Revlon Corporation, and SCM Corporation.
A mother of three children, Cindy left the workforce in 1986 to raise her family. During this time she was an active community volunteer in addition to guiding her family through six moves in five different states.
In preparation for re-entering the workforce, Cindy completed the Certified Financial Planning certificate program at Northwestern University in 2006. That year, she returned to work as a banker with North Shore Community Bank as part of the commercial banking group to oversee the commercial credit department transitioning to managing treasury services before joining the commercial lending team where she managed a loan portfolio of businesses in the $5MM to $25MM range. In early 2011, Cindy assumed the role of Community Development Officer to focus on outreach and programming for local small businesses and non-profit organizations as Vice President of North Shore Community Bank & Trust Company.
